Tmnt & Other Strangeness

[Death Warmed Up]

Now, I know I tend to come up with ideas for RPs that never go anywhere, but I am hoping that this one is going to be different. It's something everyone should know about - mutants!

But not just any mutants, no. These are all mutated animals, created through various different procedures, and by different groups. And, every once in a while, by accident. So, this one is about - yes! teenaged, mutated, ninjitsu turtles! And, other strangeness....

Basically, it's a paralell world to ours where animal mutancy is known, if not widely tollerated. In fact, most people would beat the living snot out of a mutant just because it exists, and is "dangerous" (probably radioactive, or carrying desiese, too!) But the mutants themselves live on the fringes of society, doing what they can to survive. However, sometimes these mutants help those who would hurt others. Sometimes, they go into the cities and defent the defencless in such a way that the law cannot. To many they are vigilantes. Others call them heroes.

Now, unlike the various cartoons or films, there is no evil alien warlord without a body. There are no armies of robot ninjas. Governments make their own special-ops mutants. And the Foot are very, very dangerous.

I plan for this to be as freeform as possable. Just about anything goes. Except insta-death of characters. That's just plain rude. But, don't expect a mutant to take a faceful of lead from an Uzi, and not have to spend some serious time hospitalised. Mutants are not immortal, just different. Oh, and they don't exhibit any super-powers either. Yes, a giant rhinoman could shove a parked bus out of the way with effort, but a dogman definatly couldn't.

Well, what do you think? Worthy of a run?

I think it would be fun. I could get behind it if we had more people here but if it is just Dennis, you and I doing it, I don't see a reason to do it.

Ooh yes, and before I forget, I got a version of this up on another board. I'll work on getting invites to said board, because it's members only to view. Hopefully, we can get the two groups together and start it up
