Ahh the classics of cinema... If your interested in sharing yoru recent viewings be them DVD or Cinema... vhs.. beta tape.. what ever lol!
This Week...
Saw. Genre: Horror.
I thought it was a good thriller... had a few decent twists yada yada.. a good showing of what humans will do for their life in a desperate situation. Made by two young australian film makers. Was interesting to see Danny Glovers Appearence. 6/10
Satans Little Helper. Genre: Horror (surposedly)
A geeky kids wishes to help satan.. when on halloween he meets a guy in a dorky mask who he belives to be satan... who he follows around while he kills people.. the kid belives its all pretend. Just watch out Satan doesnt get you. LAME.. 1/10 for trying.
Wrong Turn Genre: Horror (gee what a week Im having...)
Classic slasher pic.. Bunch of youne people stuck out in the middle of west virginia who are systematicly persued and eaten/killed by horribly in bred mountain men. If your not fond of disfigured people or pretyt girls getting carved up with razor wire.. Stick to "Deliverance". Good FX 8/10
Preccilla: Queen Of the Desert. Genre: Comedy
The 1994 Australian movie about 3 Drag queens... A Big Pink Bus and a trip into the outback of australia. Some very funny moments.. accompanyed by what coudl be considered awquard moments for some depending on your views. But Still Worth a watch for the humour. 7/10

Spooks
NZL film, if I knew that I wouldn't have brought the ticket, but it turned out to be quite good. Based on a true story where a guy buys an old computer and a bunch of disks only to find out there's info on the disks that shows a bank has been doing illegal things. he tries to extort the bank for money to get the disks back, but things are a little more dangerous and he ends up in the shit.
Good movie, I enjoyed it. The NZL actors did a decent job. I'd say 7.5/10
Resident Evil Apocalypse
This was an interesting one for me. I'm a huge fan of RE but I had some issues with the film. For starters, I couldn't stand the blurry camera shots during action sequences, it caused aggro to my damnable epilepsy. The recap of the first film at the beginning was too long, and quite frankly, if your'e going to see a sequel without seeing the first movie, then tough crap. I would have perferred the Nemesis to be bigger, although I had no other problems with him. But I would have LOVED to have seen him snuff Brad "chickenshit" Vikers. I understand not all characters can be included, but they should have had Chris and Claire Redfield in there somewhere. And my other annoyance, they didn't have any Hunters. The hospital sequence had me "This is where the Hunters show up", but neigh, it was not to pass. All they had were zombies, dogs and lickers. They should have had more monsters. And I very much did not like Alice having super powers. It was kind of lame.
However, the good outweighed the bad and I'm such a big fan that I can over look the less then perfect ideas expressed.
8/10
