Alright, since the SW Fever thread got locked, here's a new one! Discuss anything related to SW here: movies, books, toys, comics, toothpaste...You get the hint.

Note: If any insults are thrown around, the posts will be edited or deleted, and you will receive a warning.

Episode 3 is by far on of the coolest things I have ever seen, even if the series seems to get less and less realistic looking as time progresses... in some situations. Very good. I, for some reason, think it would be cool if the last three were remade. Don't ask why I think that because I don't even know myself.

The cinema ruined me the time of my life...

They put an intermission and after it, the sound pass from Dolby 5.1 to stereo in the screen... and the image was terrible....

Nevertheless a GREAT MOVIE!!!! cool.gif fanformers2/eek13.gif

An intermission? You're joking.

It must've been a small, independent cinema you visited, then.

Actually not, almost all the cinemas in my city are doing this... and I think that in some big cinemas in BA (our capitalCity) they are also doing this...

Shamefull....

But they are doing this because the tickt is like 9 pesos, which is a lot for many people... I don't know how much does it cost in the US or Uk to go to the cinema but take this as if it cost 9 dollars.... They put the intermission because as the ticket price is not cheap they need to create a consumism atmosphere because they are not selling all the tickects so at half the movie people went out to buy some drinks or nachos!!?!!! (akward for my country)

And they ruined the picture.... cool.gif fanformers2/eek13.gif

I paid about £5 to see it, which at current exchange rates, is about $9US

Hmmm.... my mother's having a party of sorts here on Saturday, so I might see ROTS once more. wink.gif

Jetstreamx- 06-16-2005
I know local theaters charge 7 dollars to go to the movies, but it varies from theater to theater.

BTW, Star Wars: ROTS? That is the funniest acronym I've heard in a while. biggrin.gif

I really can't wait to get it on DVD. I would like to get the rest on DVD as well. My Star Wars tapes seem to have a nack of screwing up a bit at the beginning dry.gif real annoying.

Is a lack of funds stopping you from doing so, JSX, or a lack of distribution?

Jetstreamx- 06-17-2005
Lack of funds is a definate yes at the moment, more so than availablity.
