yesterday Steve "Crocodile Hunter" Irwin was killed by a sting from a sting ray. the barb pierced his chest and struck his heart, killing him nearly instantly.

personal view: I would never say that he deserved it but he was in a very dangerous profession and it was allways a distinct possibility. and while it may have been in a way he`d have wished, I do send my sincerest condoleances to his wife and children to whom he will be missed dearly.
