last friday Fanformers: The Next Generation celebrated it`s first year anniversary.I started this messageboard a year ago after the original Fanformers, created by my good friend Fuelswitch, started to misbehave and be off the web for hours, sometimes even days on end. now I could say I saw the end of it coming but in all truth....I didn`t. I merely created FFTNG to keep occupied during the offline times of Fanformers and originally named it Fanformers 2 with the idea it was a backup message board.however....soon after I had created FF2 as it was known then, Fuelswitch pulled the plug on Fanformers...understandably, and FF2 went on to evolve into the FFTNG we know now.over the year I`ve found that where I was important for the roleplaying sections at Fanformers, I apperantly became pivotal on FFTNG. during the year I made new friends, lost older ones and had my relation be destroyed but during all that, FFTNG stayed with me and gave me a reason to go on.in order for me to celebrate that FFTNG has been around for a year now, the staff and I are working on several new things including new forums for entertainment, a revamped news section to which I already gave hint to with the recruiting of a news staff, a new rpg type completely seperated from the transformers section(this has been testrunning a while to give an idea what the plan is for it), a completely new look and new functions(under construction) and a contest to create a transformer exclusive to FFTNG. there are other little things set in motion for FFTNG aswell but...I`m keeping those a secret. I would also like to take this oppurtunity to thank Fuelswitch for the usage of the name Fanformers, he came up with the concept, I merely carry on the legacy. others I`d like to thank are Maxiewolf, for supporting my decision when I started and Sky for helping me to create our first banner.it might not be up right now but it`ll be replaced in the near future when the new look kicks in.

YEAH!!! Since my board is pretty much done, I plan on working on the design concpet for this one. Though this one may take awhile. Heh......

One year on, and we're all still here, and (mostly) with our sanities intact. Who'da thunk it?
